Jira integration overview

Currently Miruni supports direct integration with Jira that allows you to create Jira tasks from Miruni edit requests, with 2-way sync.

How to connect to Jira

To set up the Jira integration:

  1. Connect your Jira account in Workspace settings.

    For that:

    1. Click on the workspace icon in the top right corner

    2. Click on "Settings" in the dropdown menu which appears

    3. Navigate to the "Integrations" tab in your left panel

    4. Click on "add Jira integration

    5. Select your Jira account in the window which appears and click on "Accept" button

2. Connect your Miruni project to your Jira project.

For that:

a. Navigate to the project settings for the project you want to connect to Jira.

b. Make sure your Jira account is selected and click on "Associate project with Jira" button

c. In the modal which appears, you can select the proper Jira project, map Miruni Edit Request types, to Jira issue types, map Miruni Edit Request statuses, to Jira issue types, configure the default Jira epic the edit requests should be assigned to during integration and the default assignee. as per your choosing.
